The special thing about this tour is that you will be picked up directly from BER airport. After a short stretch of highway, the tour begins in the east of the city. Passing Alexanderplatz with the television tower and the Red Town Hall, we immerse ourselves in historic Berlin, with the Berlin Palace, next to the Berlin Cathedral and the Museum Island. On our tour along "Unter den Linden" we see more sights before we reach the western part of the city after a short stop at the Brandenburg Gate. Of course we drive past the Holocaut Memorial, see the government district with the Reichstag and the Chancellery, before we cross the Tiergarten with Bellevue Palace and the Victory Column. Finally we reach the heart of old West Berlin, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, now a ruin and a memorial against the war. Of course we drive over Kurfürstendamm and to KaDeWe. On the Landwehr Canal we discover the Federal Ministry of Defense, the former Imperial Naval Office and, during the Nazi era, the Army High Command. Inside: a memorial to the resistance against Hitler. Then we follow the trail of the Cultural Forum with the New National Gallery and Philharmonic Hall before we reach Potsdamer Platz. Shortly afterwards we come across an original piece of the Berlin Wall. We can also make a short stop there and explore the topography of terror. The next highlight is Checkpoint Charlie, the former Allied border point. From there it is only a short distance to the absolute center: the Berlin Palace, rebuilt as the Humboldt Forum. There (except Tuesdays) we have a brilliant view from the roof terrace over the city center (only part of the 2-3 hour tour). Then it goes through Friedrichshain with the East Side Gallery and over the Oberbaum Bridge back through Kreuzberg - if you have booked 3 hours. Afterwards I will take you to your hotel or accommodation.
Alternatively, you can experience this tour with the same highlights from your hotel or private accommodation, where I will pick you up and your luggage. My spacious SUV taxi can comfortably accommodate several large suitcases and bags in the back. Without it being tighter for you, the Toyota RAV4 offers very comfortable legroom and better visibility thanks to the raised seating position, especially at the back. Then we go directly to BER international airport, which is located on the outskirts of Berlin, just in the Brandenburg area (Schönefeld district). Of course I will bring you as close as possible to your check-in or gate. Of course, this also applies to pickup.
The tour is available as a 1-2h tour (City East only), 2-3h tour (plus City West) and 3-4h tour (recommended, as you either have more time for stops with exits, or additional Friedrichshain- Get to know Kreuzberg as a trendy district).
Prices start from €169 for 1.5 hours*, €10 more for an additional person, plus €20 for a guided tour in English. You won't get a city tour in a luxury car that lasts 4 hours that cheaply; Here you can find the explanations live. The whole thing is wrapped up in charming anecdotes, and a lot of it from my own experience. If you wish, a short exit and tour in the trendy district included, e.g. Kottbusser Tor to Oranienplatz, or at the (former) Künstlerhaus Bethanien, or at the trendy club Berghain.
*Price deviations possible, prices are gross including taxi tariff fee and city tour
