I came to Berlin over 20 years ago with my boyfriend at the time. I initially worked as a graphic designer at various Berlin advertising agencies, in Wilmersdorf and Kreuzberg. I later became self-employed as a freelance graphic designer/layouter and draftsman.

After years of sitting in a desk chair, my back didn't want to go anymore. DTP graphic artists are best people without bodies who completely merge with the computer...then they are good. But that was bad for me.

I looked for new challenges and found them. At the suggestion of my then partner and now husband, I "hired" as a so-called live presenter at Stern- und Kreis. The white fleet of Berlin undertakes the bridge trips, a tour lasting over 3 hours where you see (almost) all the sights from the water. And sometimes you have to duck your head on the upper deck - because of the flat, low bridges... there are over 60 of them on the bridge tour alone.
